✅ Step 2: Check Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 

Age Limit:

  • 18 to 30 years as of August 1, 2025.
  • Age relaxations apply: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and up to 10 years for PwD candidates.

Nationality:

  • Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently.

  • Notification Release: June 9, 2025
  • Application Window: June 9 – July 4, 2025
  • Tier 1 Exam Dates: August 13 – August 30, 2025

  1. Tier 1: Computer-Based Test (Objective)
    • 100 questions, 200 marks, 60 minutes
    • Sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension
  2. Tier 2: Computer-Based Test (Objective)
    • Paper I: Quantitative Abilities & English Language and Comprehension
    • Paper II: General Studies (Finance & Economics) – only for certain posts
    • Paper III: Statistics – only for certain posts
  3. Document Verification & Medical Examination: For final selection.

  4. Joint Commissioner of Income Tax
  5. Commissioner/Principal Commissioner
